Spicy Dal
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves 2
Ingredients:
½ tsp. Seeds
5 leaves Curry Leaf
¼ tsp. Mustard seeds (black)
1 no. Onion
1 cup Red Gram (split)
Coriander leaves for garnishing
4 to 6 tbsp of any achar paste (except lime achar)
Cooking oil
Method:
1-Pressure cook toor dal and mash well.
2-Heat 2 tbsp of oil and mustard seed, seeds, curry leaves.
3-Add finely chopped onions when the onions are half done,
4-Add daal paste along with any achar paste, keep stirring for a short while.
5-Garnish with coriader leaves.
6-Spicy dal is ready to eat. Goes well with plain rice and chapathis.
