Ingredients:
Red kidney beans: 1 cup
Onions: 2
Chilli powder: 1 ts
Tomatoes: 500 gms
Sugar 2 ts
Ghee 3 tb
Salt to taste

To be ground into a paste:
Garlic: 7 cloves
Green chillies: 7
Ginger: 25 mm piece

The Steps
Pre - Preparation:
1) Grate the onions.


Preparation:
1) Soak the red kidney beans overnight.
2) Next day, cook in a pressure cooker. Drain.
3) Fry the onions for 2 to 3 minutes.
4) Add the paste and chilli powder and fry again for 1 minute.
5) Add the cooked red kidney beans.
6) Cut the tomatoes into big pieces, add 2 cups of water and cook.
7) When cooked, take out a thick soup through a sieve.
8) Add the tomato soup to the kidney bean mixture.
9) Add the sugar and salt.
10) Cook for a few minutes.
11) Serve hot.
