Potato Chilli Fry

Cooking time :  30 Minutes

Serves 3

Ingredients:
Potato 4 nos
Green chillies 5 nos
Oil 2 tbspns
Salt to taste
Coconut 1/3 cup grated
Ginger 1 tspn chopped
Garlic 1 tspn chopped
Garam masala powder 1 tspn
/var/www/hin powder 1 tspn
Coriander powder 1 tspn

Method:

1. Grind the coconut, garlic, ginger, coriander powder, /var/www/hin powder and the garam masala powder in a blender adding a little water to obtain a smooth paste.
2.Slit the green chillies.
3.Wash and peel the potatoes and cube them.
4. Mix together potato cubes, chilies, salt and the ground masala. Set aside for half an hour.
5.Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
6.Add the above mixture and cook on a very slow fire till the potatoes become soft. (sprinkle a little water to enable the cooking process)
7.Serve hot with roti or rice.
