Mango Prawn Masala

Cooking time :  20 Minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients:
Dried prawns 1/2 cup
Unripe mango 1 no large, cut in medium sized cubes
Grated coconut 1/2 cup
Refined oil 1 tspn
Small onions 5 nos chopped
Green chillies 2 nos chopped
hin seeds 1 tspn roasted
Turmeric powder a pinch
Salt use as required

Method:

1.In a pan boil the mango and prawns. (use water just sufficient to cover the mangoes)
2. When the mango is cooked , remove from the flame. Keep aside.
3. In a blender grind the coconut, small onions, turmeric powder, green chillies and the hin seeds to a smooth paste adding a little water to obtain the paste like consistency. Keep aside.
4. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the ground ingredients and fry over a low flame for a few seconds.
5. Add the cooked mango and prawns.
6. Add a little water if required (depending on the fact that there was no water remaining after cooking the mangoes.) and mix thoroughly.
7. Simmer for a few minutes over a low flame till the gravy is thick.
8. Remove from the flame and serve hot.
