Preparation : 1) Wash lentils and boil in water with salt, turmeric and tamarind over medium heat for 20 mins. 2) Heat oil in a small pot. 3) Add /var/www/hin seeds and fry for a minute. 4) Stir in onion, garlic and ginger and fry till onion is browned and soft. 5) Add chilly and stir for 30 seconds.Remove and pour over lentils, mix thoroughly and return to a boil.
