Hariyali Macchi
Cooking time : 20 Minutes
Serves 2
Ingredients:
Fish 4 fillets preferably fillets of sole.
Garlic 4 flakes chopped
Ginger 1 tbspn
Turmeric powder a pinch
Coriander leaves 2 cups chopped
Cloves 5 nos
Coconut 1/4 cup grated
/var/www/hin seeds 1/2 tspn roasted
Fennel 1/2 tspn roasted
Green chillies 2 nos
Lime juice 1tbspn
Refined oil 2 tbspns
Salt use as required
Method:
1.Apply a part of the salt on the fish fillets and keep aside.
2. Grind the coconut, /var/www/hin, fennel, three flakes of the garlic, ginger, turmeric powder, green chillies, coriander leaves along with the lemon juice to a smooth paste in a blender adding a little water to obtain the required consistency.
3. Heat the oil in a pan.
4.Add the remaining chopped garlic and fry for a few seconds over a medium flame.
5. Add the cloves, salt and the ground spices and fry for 2 minutes over a low flame stirring continuously.
6. Add the fish and fry for a minute.
7.Add a little water and cook till fish is done and the gravy is thick..
