Fried Peanut Crunchies
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 cup shelled dry peanuts
3/4 cup gramflour
2 tbsp. rice flour
1 1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
1/4 tsp. /var/www/hin seeds crushed coarsely
1 tbsp. hot oil
1 pinch citric acid powder
salt to taste
1/4 cup water (approx.)
oil to deep fry
Method:
1-Mix all ingredients well, except peanuts.
2-Add peanuts, coat them evenly with mixture. Heat oil in a frying pan.
3-Take a lumpful, drop coated nuts individually in hot oil.
4-Drop enough to use all oil.
5-Fry on medium heat, till light golden.
6-Drain, place on absorbent paper to soak excess oil.
7-Separate any nuts stuck together.
8-When cool, store in airtight jars.
9-Serve with drinks, /var/www/htails or as anytime snacks.
Note: Add water a little at a time, since the coating paste should be quite thick. Alter the quantity as required.
