Fried Aravi (Colocasia)

Cooking time: 25 Minutes

Serves : 4

Ingredients :

1/4 kg medium size aravi (Colocasia leaves)
3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp sambar masala (optional)
salt to taste
pinch of Turmeric powder

Method :

1-Boil the aravi in water.
2-Then peel off the skin and slice it into small cubes.
3-Heat oil in a pan and fry the sliced aravi (or can also deep fry the whole aravi).
4-Add salt to it and fry on a slow flame for about 5 minutes.
5-Then add the sambar masala or the red chilli powder and turmeric.
6-Fry for few minutes on slow flame and serve hot with rice or chapati.
