Fish in Tangy Sauce

Serving: 4
Preparation time: 20 mins

Ingredients:
Catfish or pickerel or trout: 2 lb
Garlic: 4 cloves
Vinegar: 1/3 cup
Water: 1/4 cup
Salt: 1 tb
Pepper: 1/4 ts
Bay leaf (small): 1
Cooking oil: 3 tb

The Steps:
Pre - Preparation:
Crush the garlic.

Preparation :
1) Put fish in porcelain or teflon skillet.
2) Combine the remaining ingredients except cooking oil, and pour over the fish.
3) Over medium heat, bring to a boil.
4) Cover, lower heat and simmer for about 10 mins turning fish once.
5) Transfer fish to a dish.
6) Let sauce in skillet simmer until reduced.
7) Transfer to a small bowl and set aside.
8) Heat oil in skillet.
9) Fry fish until brown on all sides.
10) Place on serving dish.
11) Pour sauce over it.

Rotis, rice

To the leftover gravy, add tomato, chilly and soy sauce to give it an exotic touch.
