Doodh ka salan(Milk Curry)
Cooking time: 40 minutes
Serves : 4
Ingredients :
One medium sized onion
red chilli powder half-1teaspoon(variable)
salt to taste
oil for frying
Milk 250cc (approx one and a half two glasses)
Method :
1-Chop the onion into very fine cubes. Heat oil and fry onion over medium heat till they get brown. 2-Add red chilli powder according to your taste, mix it over low heat for about 15-30 seconds & then add milk and salt. When it starts boiling. lower the flame and keep boiling for further 3-5 minutes.
3-How to serve:
Put bite sized pieces of roti (chapati) in a bowl and pour the milk curry over it. mix well .That is the traditional way. Alternatively it can be taken with chapati in the ordinary way or used as a soup as well.
