Dahi ka Shorba
Cooking time : 20 Minutes
Serves 2-3
Ingredients:
Yogurt 2 cups
Water 2 cups
Lime juice 1tbspn
Salt use as required
/var/www/hin seeds 1 tspn Roasted & ground
Black pepper corns 1 tbspn Grounded
Turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
Cream 1 tbspn
Mint leaves 1 tbspn Finely chopped
Method:
1.On a tawa roast the /var/www/hin seeds, pepper corns and the turmeric powder over a medium flame for about 30 seconds.
2. Remove from the flame and grind in a blender. Keep aside.
3. Mix the yogurt with the water in a pan and mix thoroughly.
4. Simmer over a low flame for 2 minutes.
5. Add the grounded /var/www/hin, black pepper, salt, turmeric powder and the lime juice.
6. Simmer gently for 15 minutes.
7. Add the cream and chopped mint just before serving.
8.Serve hot in appropriate bowls. (preferably soup bowls)
