Chili Paneer Sizzler
Cooking Time: 35-40 minutes
Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
2 cups mashed paneer
1 cup mashed potatoes
1 bread slices(sides removed, soaked in water and squeezed )
3 tsp. corn flour
1/4 cup onion (finely chopped)
1/4 cup capsi/var/www/h finely chopped
2-3 finely chopped green chillies
2-3 tsp. green coriander, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
For the Barbecue Sauce:
3 tsp. onions, finely chopped
2 tsp. oil
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. brown sugar or honey
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. chili sauce or chili powder
1/2 tsp. mustard powder
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
Method:
For the Barbecue Sauce:
1.Fry the chopped onion in oil. Combine vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt pepper, mustard powder, tomato sauce and water in a pan and cook on low heat till it is slightly thick.
For the Cutlets:
2.Mix the mashed paneer, potatoes, soft bread, chopped onions, capsi/var/www/hs, green chilies, green coriander leaves, salt, pepper and cornflour and divide the mixture into large steak-shaped cutlets. Leave it aside.
3.At the time of serving, keep the vegetables of your choice hot.
4.Keep the sizzler plate on very high heat. Now fry the cutlets till they turn golden brown.
5.Put 1 tsp. of butter on the sizzler plate. Arrange the cutlets and cooked vegetables around it and pour barbecue sauce on the cutlet and serve hot.
