Serving: Several dozens Preparation time: 50 mins Ingredients: Rice flour: 3 cups Split black gram: ¾ cup White sesame seeds: 2 tb Butter: 4 tb Milk: ½ cup Salt: To taste Oil: For deep-frying The Steps: Pre - Preparation : Roast and pound the split black gram. Preparation : 1) Mix flour, gram powder, salt, milk and sesame. 2) Add butter and more water if required to make into a soft non-sticky dough. Knead well. 3) Take a small quantity of the dough and press through a chakli mould. 4) Make 4 or 5 at a time and deep-fry. 5) The flame should be moderate. Calories: 265 for 3 pcs Suggested Accompaniments: Tea, coffee, lemon juice Left - Over Ideas : Make chivda with small pieces of chakli with puffed rice, bundi and groundnuts.
