Ingredients:
Ghee: 5 tb
Onion: 1
Garlic cloves: 2
Cloves: 2
Bay leaves: 2
Cinnamon stick: 1 inch
Garam masala: 1 ts
Chilly powder: 1 ts
Turmeric: 1/2 ts
Coriander: 1/2 ts
Tomatoes: 2
Salt: To taste
Potatoes: 2
Green peas: 1/2 cup
Water: 1 1/4 cup
Cilantro

The Steps:
Pre - Preparation:
1) Chop the onion, cilantro and garlic.
2) Quarter the tomatoes and cube the potatoes.

Preparation :
1) Heat ghee and saute onion and garlic over medium heat till golden.
2) Add cloves, bay leaves and cinnamon.Stir-fry for 2 mins.
3) Add garam masala, chilly powder, turmeric, coriander, tomatoes and salt.
4) Mix well.
5) Add potatoes and peas.
6) Pour in water and bring to a boil.
7) Lower heat, cover the pan and simmer gently for 15 mins, or until the potatoes are done.
7) Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Suggested Accompaniments:
Rice, rotis

Left - Over Ideas :
1) To make the leftover gravy richer, add 2 tss cashewnut paste.
2) Cook for2 mins.
3) Finally add half a cup of cream.
4) Garnish with corriander leaves.
5) Serve hot.
